I'm not sure what it is. I mark all my alignment cams with a permanent marker. That way I know if they have been knocked out of place.

Not totally correct. 884 is more for 1st gen and maybe 5 lug. I started with 885 and was very happy

The tsb will correct the sloppiness in the rear end a bit. An AAL from an OME didn't change much, but I was grinning too much from getting the lift in

You can just drop the tank instead of taking the bed off. Either way, Don't forget to disconnect the filler hose.

Looks good. On a side note, I'm leaving tomorrow so everything is as planned. I'll call you on Sunday evening.

    Kyouto42,

I finally found the manual online, it says it charges the IPOD. The unit also has an AUX 3.5 input for not IPOD devices.

I just lowered the tank. Put a jack under it and remove the two straps and filler hose. It comes right down. Swap the pump out and jack the tank back up. It's much easier if you run the tank dry first.

884's are for the current gen Tacoma's. The 880's, 881's and 882's are for the 1st gen's. I'm running OME Nitrochargers on all 4 corners with the 882's on the front Dakar's in the rear. It is a stiff ride even with a ARB bullbar and Warn M8000.

I had the 5100's and 880's on before I got the bullbar and winch put on and it was an ok ride. I pulled them and shipped them off to my dad and ihe like the ride on a 2004 Xtracab PreRunner

From what I read, the 884's are the 2nd gen... they're just borderline too soft and a lot of people seem to prefer the 885's for a stiffer ride. The 886's are really only for armor/winch applications to support the additional weight. It's a personal pref.

OK yeah was wrong sorry

For what it's worth, Wheeler's has discontinued the 884 it looks like.

I updated my build with the list of lift parts I have. Sorry I didn't measure the spacer, but it's basically the same you'd get in the Wheeler's kit.

so i went with a buddy and one of his friends to run dogs on bobcats. both had Toyota's so i thought i would share the stories and photos.

we go to the hunting area at 7am (after driving 30 miles in 1 1/2 hours due to unexpected snow and slow drivers). right as we got there, we put the dogs on the box and not 5 minutes later taylor (the strike dog) lites up, we let her go and not 2 minutes later she is no the cat so out go jasons (my friend) other dog (slick a 8 month old pup, and Erics 3 dogs. pretty quick the race is on but we loose track of the dogs.

after a few hours of hiking around trying to figure out where the dogs are we locate 2 of erics dogs (they lost the track and did not make the race), finally at 12pm we make it to the dogs! to our dismay the cats has ran into a hole and we can not see or get it out!! so we hike back to the trucks put the dogs in the box (to give them a rest) and head out to see what we can find. well what we found was lots of really wet slick snow.

anyway this is about all we found the rest of the day. all in all it was a fun day even though we had to hike close to 4-5 miles in some wet nasty crap, but that is the nature of running dogs. by the way we were out side of corvallis in the alsea area.

by the way jason just got the truck the 20's where not his choice.
