How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Mine came from the northeast (I'm in Nashville). Took about a month from the time I placed the order. It was already allocated to that particular dealer though...this was back in March/April.

 

10 weeks from order placed to me taken ownership

 

@Rod03 Thanks again for the second vin you checked but did the first truck you checked have a Estimated Dealer Arrival? Vin: 3TYCZ5AN9NT086024

 

Picked it up last friday. Gulf States Toyota and timeline was as follows:

1/28/22 Requested build
2/4/22 Dealer notified me that the build order was accepted
5/20/22 Allocation accepted and Temp VIN received (build scheduled for first week of June)
6/5/22 Temp VIN stopped working
6/28/22 Dealer called to notify me that the truck had arrived at port and I should be able to pick up next day
6/29/22 Finalized financing over the phone
6/30/22 Picked up the truck

Overall it was a lengthy process and a real test of patience. In GST (and southwest Toyota from what I gather) the tracking info during and after build is not as detailed. I was only notified when my temp VIN was available and when the truck arrived at the port. The information available via the temp VIN is not as useful in the Gulf States area so I was not able to stalk the process as well I had hoped too lol. But in the end I got exactly what I wanted and didnt pay a cent over MSRP. I'm a very happy camper

 

Nothing is coming up with the VIN.

 

It shows between 07/07/ and 07/12.

 

Found a second car carrier on it's way to veracruz, estimated in veracruz 7/13

 

Hey @Rod03, do you mind checking my vin again? Last known build date was 7/8 but yet to hear anything from my dealer. I appreciate you helping us all!

On 6/3/22 I paid the 500 down for the truck that was scheduled to be here 6-28 .Then dealer said it would be 7/4.Now they say 7/28 and cant tell me any info or give me any kind of tracking VIN but that it has been built and there is some kind of shipping delay....Im new to this stuff when do u guys get that trackable VIN that Mr.Rod kindly checks for yall?

 

If it has actually been built the dealer should be able to give you a permanent VIN.

My 6/4 build is a Limited, but the BSM and RCTA is standard on those.

 

It looks like six days from New York to veracruz. So we'll see when it leaves there should be a week to new York unless they make other port stops.

 

Build date still showing as 07/08, but it has not update.

 

Your salesman can provide the VIN number.

 

I can only see the spec sheet, rail arrived somewhere on 06/09. No other update.
