I went trd lift kit because I don't know shit about working on trucks or vehicles in general. So having a modest lift offering that is backed by the dealership was an easy decision for me. I also don't leave pavement so that removed the need for the bigger badder suspensions that are built for that kind of driving

Did you need to install sway bar spacers to fit the 6112s up front?

I’m happy to say my rumble strip vibration is gone, braking vibration is gone, my hair has regrown and my wife left me.

I initially used the 1 degree beltech shims and didn’t feel much difference. In a last ditch effort I went under and measured the drive shaft to differential angle with my phone because I didn’t want to buy a digital protractor. I know it isn’t accurate but according to the TSB the max angle is like 3.4 allowable. I calculated I was 5-6 degrees with a 1 degree shin already. I went ahead and got the wheelers 3 degree shim. I had to run to Home Depot to get 2 new bolts because the bolt holding the leaf pack wasn’t long enough and the ones it came with are meant more for vehicles with additional leaf springs. Now with the 3 degree shims no rumble strip and no brake vibration.

Hate to clog up this thread since this isn’t the OEM lift kit, but did you pay $1700 for a 6112/5160 lift kit complete with springs and leafpaks? Labor and alignment also included? That would have to be a deal of a life time. I was $1700 for the Wheeler’s Trail-Pro kit alone and they had the best kit price at the time. Add in SPC control arms, sway bar drop, ECGS busing (tools and axle seal) and your are way past that. Granted I did some extra’s to be sure I had no clearance issues and could get a good alignment. Just wondering if you went with a full kit, or did some creative mixing and matching to hit that great price point. Inquiring minds want to know.

Do these shocks have notches like the 5100's? If so, has anyone set them on the factory height/ lowest notch and added emu springs to get the same 2" of lift in the front?
