how many inches of lift is that?

the 265's look good in the front, but they do look a little small in the back

What is the backspacing of your wheels, and how much lift do you have?

I am not to sure I just bought the truck. I think the back is 2" with a 1" AAL. Not to sure about backspacing. Can I check with the rim on the truck?

Yes, measure the distance from the back edge of the rim to the point that it mounts on the hub.

4.5" BS is stock BS for 1st gens. you can fit those 285's, but you might have to trim a bit.

Keep the rims and go with 285s when those kick the bucket.
