Most of the National level games require biodegradable BB's. Local games usually don't. I've been using these for quite some time as I think biodegradable is better no matter where I play.

Just some maintenance for the second gen. It got new calipers, rotors, and pads today. Kind of a shame that the brakes I took off only had about 2,000 miles on them, but the drivers side caliper was messed up and was slightly sticking. So, in stop and go traffic that rotor would heat up and make all kinds of weird noises.

Drivers side was pretty strait forward. Even the caliper bolts came out ok. I mean, they should have as they were just replaced, but nobody uses the correct torque on those bolts.

I did have a slight battle with the passenger side caliper bolts, but Mr. Snap-On came in clutch!

Bled the brakes with a helper and took off in the country to bed in the pads. Really like the Element 3 Hybrid pads and rotors. Get a little bit of heat in them and they grab really nice. The Element 3 calipers were very well made and I had no installation issues.

Looking at it now the dealer I bought the truck from who put on the brakes really did a bad job. Didn't clean the mating surfaces and used very little if no lubricant. This is the drivers side.

I do plan on taking these apart, sandblasting them, and rebuilding them. Keep them sealed up in case I ever need them. Both the 2014 and 2021 take the same caliper.

Love it. I'm going fully molle in bed at some point after a few other things. I keep looking for someone selling their panels for cheap but no luck so far.

Had a 2013 in the shop today that was literally rusting apart. They came in for 3 new tires so there was nothing I could do about the rust but warn the person who brought it in. So I gave my 07 a little pat on the bedside and thanked it for not rusting apart on me.

That tool box is a great idea! I'm totally stealing that to throw fluids/ belts/ and other spare parts to free up some space in the tool roll.

It's a plano ammo can. It's cheap and works perfectly!

Appreciate it! I’ve been looking at getting a portable air compressor for the tires but the ARBs are so expensive. The other brand I’ve seen good reviews on is the Viair.

Added a magnetic strip to the Softopper for the tailgate. I can already tell that this will be way better than the velcro I was using, although I doubt it'll do all that much for the dust getting everywhere. Details here for the interested.
