    I go once a year (or if im bored) to see where we need to do brushing work for the fall on the right of way. Im good with the glider and ppl certs for now. :thumbsup:

    Scoped out the crashed DC3 fuselage on Mt Success (the irony). They were so freakin close to clearing the summit..

    Been a while since I’ve been on here…..

    I have finally started to get back into general aviation. I went up with an instructor in a Tecnam P2010 and learned how to land a small plane again. I recently went up solo and then my family met me after. Hoping to take my 5 year old up soon.     Missing My Last Tacoma --- Had 11 Toyota trucks in the past and many other Toyota cars too.
    ...^^^... I don't remember seeing one on the tarmac at PDK, but I think I saw one and heard that distinctive "whine" a bunch of times over the suburbs of ATL. Last time was maybe 4 or 5 years ago?

    Regarding the Beech Starship….When I worked for the Collins BRS (Business and Regional Systems) many years ago my boss had been one of the flight controls leads on the Starship. It was the first application of what would become the ‘ProLine 4’ avionics.

    He was a pilot and loved that aircraft. He also shared that Raytheon had an active effort to buy back every Starship to decommission them relieving Raytheon of both liability and support obligations. He said that even back then (2000-ish) some operators adamantly refused to turn back their aircraft, even at premiums. I’m glad to hear some are still flying.

    Landed at 02:45 AM? Yeah, the flight school was not directly involved.

    I would wager theft of an airplane could be added to the laundry list of criminal charges. Glad he didn't hurt anyone.
