How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Yes, it messed things up for me. A dealer attempted to change port installed accessories for me on an incoming truck, and the build was essentially cancelled (Toyota removed all the packages I wanted, and the color was changed).

Per my request, the dealer added bed lighting, TRD skid plate, blackout package, and then removed the bed step. The v-spec updated within ~5 min reflecting the changes correctly. Then, 48 hours later, the v-spec (same VIN) showed the color was changed from Lunar to White, and it was now missing Premium Package, Advanced Tech, and LED Headlights... The truck is now a stripped down TRD Offroad with no packages, and I'm back on the waiting list for another truck. The dealer said they'd never seen this happen and assumed it was due to parts shortages.

 

3/30 - Deposit placed on allocated vehicle
4/27 - Vehicle built (5 weeks behind schedule)
5/16 - Rail depart to Petersburg VA
5/24 - QC Hold 35 days
6/8 - Rail arrive at Petersburg
6/27 - QC Hold removed (Dealer ETA 6/25-6/30)
7/5 - Delivered to dealer
7/9 - Taco time!

Big thanks to Mechanicsville Toyota in Virginia. Flying down from NY I was a bit skeptical of what would happen when I walked in the door but there were zero surprises. The price I was told, was the price I paid. I was on my way home in a new truck in about 1 hour. I'm glad the saga is over. Finally!!

My Tacoma has been at the port in Newark since 07/06 waiting on semi to transport truck to dealer. Estimated dealer arrival is July 7th-12th. Does it seem with everyone’s experience that those times should be fairly accurate?

Who was the dealer? Was it toyota of Renton or Swickard Toyota?

 

Must be South East or Gulf States dealer. I can only see the spec sheet not the tracking info. Unfortunately I got nothing on this one.

 

Rail arrived at Orillia on 07/09, waiting for a Semi ride to the dealership.

Thanks for chiming in. Of the 4 or 5 of us on here who seem to be waiting on 6/4 built trucks, yours is the first without BSM/RCTA, so that’s interesting - you’re right that it must be something else holding them up. Fascinating cause it seems like other trucks built after ours are on the move. So strange.

 

Exact same for me too - no notifications on my 6/4 Baja built DCLB OffRoad until 3 days ago, when I got multiple door unlock notifications and the app showed a bit of fuel in the tank and the odometer started reading 1 instead of “N/A”. I too was hoping that meant movement but Rod said no updates. Still sitting there in limbo though I figure it’s better to have gotten those notifications than none. I haven’t gotten any further notifications since then; have you?
