Once in awhile if i'm backing out of my driveway and slowly turning the wheel my front end makes a popping noise? its pains me to hear it! any ideas as to whats causing it? I was thinking I might need new bushings.

If its a loud sharp "pop" sound, it could be debris (rock/dirt) in your springs if you have been off road recently.

Looks like 3" lift and KMC wheels.

OP: Happen to live around cactus and the 101? I also see a black Tacoma driving around that area all the time.

I hear a noise similar but when going forward. Im 99% sure its my wheel bearings, I will be replacing them soon. Not looking forward to it though.

Check your sway bar joints and connectors ( my guess), tie rods,
and bushings on upper and lower arms.

This has been happening to me... Dealer thought it was the gusset for my avid bar hitting the frame, but I don't think that's the whole story. Still don't know, been driving it that way for awhile now. Maybe that's a bad idea...
