I moved from Montana to SC, definitely miss the dry air. Details on the camp stove?

Wolf pup 17jg. I have only had it out a couple times but the truck pulls it nicely. I believe its 3800 lbs. and it fits the wife, 2 daughters, and a hairy German shepherd perfectly.0522221920a_HDR.jpg 0529220813~2.jpg

Picked up our Winnebago 1708fb this weekend. It was very stable, even with a strong headwind. Could use some more power, and mileage was 8. Looking forward to our first real trip.B9443D74-8B0C-44D3-B0EC-9E8872D9E3D3.jpg

Towing this 2022 Jayco 174bh dry weight 3375lbs. Weighed it at the Cat scale after accessories installed came in at 3700lbs with fresh water tank half full. Using an Andersen hitch, tekonsha brake controller and AP Expedition springs. Tows great and very stable @65mph sometimes 70mph.

(This picture illustrates after-market trailering mirrors for the Tacoma. As should be obvious, they fold-in when not needed for towing.) I have distressingly observed too many trailers being towed by vehicles with mirrors inadequate to the task of seeing around the trailer. My trailer (partially illustrated) is a 1955 Airlight, 15' from ball coupler to rear bumper. She is distinguished from other brands of riveted aluminum trailers by having her door in the rear entry position, which opens the floorpan to a centered aisle.

Thanks! I've always had vintage trailers, including my first in 1972 -- a "canned ham" (called that because of it's shape) -- a 1960 Highway Cruiser 16' which was in perfect shape. To which my wife would always add: Yeah, it was only 12 years old! That 1960 Chevy "Carryall" had a 262 cu in (4.3 L) V8. Lovely truck, but my 4L V6 Tacoma feels just as strong as that Chevy did.

I use Goodyear "Endurance" trailer tires -- ST205/75R15 -- load range D because my trailer is 2750 lbs, wet. Goodyear says they should be inflated to 65 psi cold, but since I don't max out the weight rating of load range D, I run them at 55 psi. My axle is a Dexter Tor-Flex without shock absorbers. (Never run auto tires on your travel trailer.) Some folks swear by LT -- light truck -- tires, but in nearly 50 years of towing travel trailers, I have always used ST (Special Trailer) tires.

I like the facelift camper manufacturers are giving their models over the last several years. I grew up camping with my parents and siblings and was never a fan of the dark dingy wood interiors or corrugated aluminum exterior panels which seem to have been around since the 60's.

So it's time for new tires for my truck. I've been running SL Duratracs with no problems towing. Camper is sub 3000 lbs with a tongue weight of 357lbs. Would prefer to stay SL but slightly considering a C rated tire(although load index is same as SL).

How many of you out there are running SL and are you confident about it with the weight of your particular camper?
