    Im getting there......
I have a trd offroad and i used to have a satoshi but recently traded it for a 2011 chrome grill.

The chrome looks alright but i want to do something different.....

Do you guys think painting it magnetic grey or trying to do some kind of brushed/matte gunmetal finish (to match wheels) would look good?

btw my truck is speedway blue.....

i dont have a scoop so i think doing color match would look kid of funny....

Doing color match without the scoop looks just as good in my opinion, I did it. Anything is better than the chrome!

depends on the end result you want...i hit mine with fine grit sand, then primer, then flat black.

Honestly, by the time you purchase all the paint/primer/sandpaper/etc... You'd be better off to just have a shop paint it for ya. Plus, the end result will be MUCH better than you can do on your own.

unless you work in a paint shop, and paint parts all the time.

I think if the OP worked in a paint shop, we wouldn't be having this discussion...
