This whole thread is about airing opinions that don't matter. Facts are facts but opinions aren't anything. My unimportant opinion is that cement highlights how boring or rad a truck is. It's an amplifier of whatever music you play.

Oh, totally agree. Good idea for a thread, slightly different caveat to the "What's the most annoying popular mod" thread.

Used my bed inverter on a 5k mile road trip to run my fridge, it was great to have. It not working at 400 w while driving is lame for sure. But for 80 bucks, i got a kit and added an outlet and bypass to the inverter and could run anything i wanted while driving. Sweet mod.

Controversial opinion: 3rd Gen is fine. Better than 2nd Gen.

Also, I use my inverter several times. I even run a HF air compressor for air up off of it.

the over-sized easy-to-use radio knobs will be something i miss and reflect on long after my 3rd gen is no more. for now, i'll continue to avoid using the push button controls as much as possible and just enjoy every moment reaching for those comfortable control knobs. might be my favorite thing about the truck.

I used my 400W inverter once, just once. Visiting parents and their gas weedeater stopped working; things had overgrown quite a bit. They happened to have an electric one, but only a couple extension cords, so I was driving all over their property weedeating with the Taco. It did the job until they could get to town for a new gas one.

I could/should use it a lot more often when camping; I just never think to.

The bed outlet came in clutch when I bought an air mattress for a camping trip with the gf. I didn't bother to read the box ahead of time to see the pump was 110AC, and not battery powered like I assumed.

Damn, see that's what I mean; I just never think to use that thing. I have a plug in air mattress too, but we bought a battery powered pump to air it up on camping trips.

I hope you were driving around with your arm out the window, weedeating from the comfort of the driver seat.

I took off the stock OR wheels and replaced them BUT put them in the boxes that the new wheels came in and they are up in storage. Never know when they will be needed again. I have a problem with not getting rid of take offs. Need to save everything stock.

A guy at work put a set of new style Sport take-offs on to his stock 2014 Sport DCLB, red with chrome accents. It really improved the look of his truck over those stock 17" the truck came with...

Unpopular opinion, the TRD packages are all a complete waste of money for inferior imitations of what you can have with proper aftermarket parts.

Haa, that would have been badass. Unfortunately that thing was only about 3' long.

Ive thought about weed eating while on my riding mower. 2 birds, 1 stone.

Unpopular Opinion: Just change your oil when the maintenance reminder pops up on the dash.

I use the inverter to vacuum my truck out all the time. Mind you I have to keep the engine running to do a complete job.
