YotaMafia Rock Light Install Question

Hey guys. I bought the Yotamafia/R4T 6 Light Rock Light Kit. I also have a Switch Pro. I would like to be able to use the harness and have it work with my key/entry but also have the ability to turn them on with my Switch Pro when camping at night or offroading.

I understand I have to use Option 3 but not sure if I still use the relay, etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Negative (low) source (no dimming) just on & off with cab lights.

 

I see so I need to not use their cargo light switch harness and go directly to switch pro then setup the trigger wire from Switch Pro and program it to turn on with the dome light

 

I run everything through the SwitchPros and program it from the app.

 

I wired up my port installed LED Illumination Package to the MESO puddle pod switch. Fading in & out works as it did from the factory but it's nice being able to manually turn them on as well.

How do you get ON with unlock?

 

Good question. I am not triggering anything like that. I did find this article that shows how someone triggers his rock lights off the door unlocking.

Add the trigger wire for the switch pro to the dome circuit and program it for a negative trigger I imagine.

 

Tapping into ILE will get the on/off dimming at unlock/lock. To get ON anytime would require an additional stand alone SPDT switch.
