I need to get some of that good dirt at the tannery; that's what my house may or may not have been built on. :anonymous:

No wonder everything grows so good around here...

Campus IT hasn't given us the green light that we can install Windows 11 yet.

But they also haven't said we can't.

Permission/forgiveness, it's 26% installed. They can holler at me later.

I can't even install Win11 on my computer due to one little BIOS setting... Dumb...

I just wish Win10 would quit taking my "sleep" option instead of hibernate or shut down. One update they'll take it away, and the next one give it back, only to take it away again! It's not a laptop Windows! :annoyed:

Calling on a little help from the team.

What are the differences in these 2 bearings?

They are both 6205's, yet the red sealed units have a smaller I.D.

They will not slide over my mower spindles.

I've ordered these twice from Amazon and they still come in with too small of ID.

Does the 2RS have a seal on both sides versus the RS having one on one side?

That still wouldn't explain the difference in ID, though.

According to Timken & McMaster-Carr, they should both have a 25mm ID...

Yes, they're powdercoated. It was actually $440 because he charged $10/each to do the center caps.

There's probably 3-4 different IDs for the 6205. 2RS is just 2 Rubber Seal.

For real? I have a boatload of old coins/bills from all over the world that I've moved countless times cuz it didn't seem right to toss them, but have no use for it. If you're interested, I'd add to your collection.

    Re: Poll

Useful firearms are my main collector hobby, but I do have a penchant for stashing away useful "merchandise" in unusual quantities sometimes. For example: I have quite the collection of poly bags of assorted sizes that parts/hardware come in cuz they're good for keeping things together/waterproof.

Also, I am finding that I am overly particular about certain things. I have strong opinions on "good" vs "bad" cardboard and rubber bands. Can't be using the flimsy stuff for Cardboard Aided Design! Also, overly stretchy rubber bands have no place in society. Alternatively, "Rigger Bands" are the pinnacle of human achievement.

    That would be awesome!
Did you try heating the bearing up a bit?
