If the ring lays flat there’s a 0.5” gap. The thinner beaded tires are 0.75” which is fine, but the 1” thick ones are too much. Going to see if interco will swap them out but worst case scenario I’ll run spacers on the thicker one and keep them on the rear. Not sure if I’ll need to replace the coned ring or if I can get it to go back flat. Might not matter much

So you need 1/4 inch spacer to match the difference. I measured the gap on mine on the belt side, it is 1/4 inch after compressing it. That will leave 1/4 inch on the tire to compress.

Good deal. That should work if they won’t swap them out. At least I have one put together and can cycle my suspension. That’ll keep me busy

You think you will have to do any banging or cutting?

I should clear the firewall fine, but will likely cut or massage back the front under the headlights. Won’t be as bad as 35s since the LT kit pushed the tire forward almost an inch.

Won’t take much to clear these after all.

All metal but it sledges easily. I doubt I’ll have to cut and weld anything. My upper ball joint is maxing out so I need to bump a little sooner which will help too.

Yeah they’re way away from the frame and cab mount. LT helps a lot with that

I tried reading some of the forums in here and looking these things up, but I still just don’t get it. Any reason why these wouldn’t work on my 3rd gen? They’re off a 2007 FJ.

Grateful to be in the double digits now. There was a time I couldn’t fathom staying clean for a week. Glad there’s something more powerful than me taking care of things.

Yeh they’re 17s. I’m looking to putting either 255/70s or 255/80s on them so I don’t have to regear yet. I do have the black sr5 wheels!

Congratulations buddy that’s a huge accomplishment! Now I feel like an ass for bringing the cold ones on Saturday though. Sorry bout that.
