I’m currently using version 3 in post 2 (the 1/4” one)

i played with the regular for a while but I use the flexzilla regularly. It’s super nice. I think it’s worth it. It can do inflate and deflate with the trigger

Ahh OK got it. There are so many iterations now on that thread I wasn't able to keep up with what the latest setup was. A few pages back there was talk of the regulator, check valve, etc etc. Revision 3 using only the inflator trigger grip seems to keep it simple and foolproof and in the smallest possible package. Good deal, thanks!

Have any of you guys ever bought a truck you had leased? My lease is up in November, but I'm looking to buy it now before financing rates go higher. Talked to a finance guy at the stealership today after trying to get someone to call me back since last Friday. His numbers for buyout don't match my paperwork, and they're also trying to tack on a $1495 dealer processing fee. When I asked what that was for and if it was negotiable he wouldn't answer and said he'd have a manager call me back to explain. Sounds kinda fishy... Am I really paying $1495 for them to cash a check for Toyota Financial? At first I thought he was saying it was $14.95, and I would have been fine with that, but $1495 is a sweet new tonneau cover!

If there is a better forum here to pose this question, let me know. Just figured I'd start with you guys and see if you had any experience or advice. Thanks!

I’ve never done it but lots of people have. There’s been some posts about it in the 3g forum

according to this you can go through tfs directly and skip the dealer

Damn, that was a quick find and helpful! I called TFS at the number listed on that. Of course it's after hours now, but I got some info from their automated system. Their payoff amount seems correct and there was no mention of additional fees. I'll be calling back tomorrow during business hours to get more details. I may be able to pay it off directly without going to the dealer, but the robot guy on the phone said this option varies by state, as does payment of taxes. I definitely don't want to finance the purchase with TFS as the local credit union has far better rates, so that may be a concern, but they do mention a "purchase vehicle outright" option too on that page.

    Thanks much!

Just imagine the money we can help you spend once the truck is no longer leased.

You can also finance through tfs and then immediately roll it to the credit union. I did that when I bought my Tacoma in 2015.. financed it at the dealer so I could take it home then moved it to my credit union a month later after I got the paperwork

Yeah, you guys are the best.... While I do want to avoid higher interest rates on the horizon, I also can't wait to call the truck my own and start doing some fun stuff with it. First on the list is a new hard tonneau cover. I worked on my Audi last weekend and I think I made my electrical problem worse. I need to walk away from the issues with that car and start on some fun easy upgrades to my truck, like intake and exhaust.

Take that lease payment amount and put it every month in a hidden account for your toys/upgrades. Do not tell anyone about it. You can thank me later...

Nice night out, this area is always a great place to spend an evening. Tons of pretty little lakes and spots to hike as well as spots you could put a tent. I can give coordinates if any of you would like them although I know 90% of you guys are super far south :D

These will take you into the general area. 45.298636,-89.6223692 It's not a huge all day driving area but definitely nice spots to hike/take pics/camp.
