You guys take this off-road stuff seriously don't ya? Wanna know the one thing I have always carried, and it sounds silly, but I always carry a fire extinguisher. There's a long (funny now) story behind it lol, and I ain't sharing.

But I just figure if I'm ever going down the road, you never know when it might come in handy and perhaps save someones life.
That and a tow strap. And a cheap harbor freight come-along.

There's people who go off-road WITHOUT a fire extinguisher? I have two. One in the cab and one in the bed.

Oh ok. I didn't know that was a given lol. I've never really done that stuff, the off road thing. It sounds pretty fun though. Like those pictures you posted. There was one thread I stumbled on here last week that people shared pictures, and man there was some cool, cool pictures. I mean photographer quality stuff. I guess we can all do it now since Apple has no other way to upgrade the I-Phone aside from making the camera better, but I saw some incredible pictures on this thread.
And that said, I can't find the thread now.

    Edit: h/o I'll find it

if MW stands for Midwest, get out of there and go to somewhere that's got scenery and its much easier to be big on "off-roading". or just stick to scenic fire roads. Its better with a view

I by no means do anything difficult in my stock truck, but it gets me enough places that require 4x4 or decent clearance to keep me entertained

It was the double-cab thread I got them from.

@tcBob sells a calendar every year I think, from last Dec.... he should do 3.
    One for each generation.
Give the proceeds away of course.
He'll get enough pictures that for sure.

I think that first pic could be Lemmon valley. The perspective is correct, and I recognized those mountains immediately. @cartter469 doesn't that look like the OHV entrance off the back side of lemmon?

If I'm correct, that's about 6 miles from where I live lol

That's gotta be the lemmon valley entrance. I'll drive out there this weekend and double check

I've seen that, and the houses on the left with are a dead giveaway to that little cluster of homes right on the edge of the BLM land. The "lake" is where it should be. Can't make out any of downtown reno buildings, but the zoom no worky so good from that far away

The only thing I can't place in my mind is that big hunk of mountain right behind the houses. But I may have just not paid attention

ah mount rose. The most ridiculously expensive season pass for a small mountain that doesn't have a very long season!
