    I've sold some guns over the years, 99% of the time it was to fund another one though.
    I've got a lot of knives, my parents gave me several over the years and I usually buy one while on vacation for some reason.
    Always been a sticker collector and put them on tool boxes and inside truck tool boxes.
    Got a lot of tractor stuff too, lot of 1/16th scale ones in the house.
    Never really been a license plate collector although I do have several on the building.

    I found this website that list all part numbers associated with that bearing. https://www.rockymountainbearings.com/products/6205-2rs-6205rs-6205-ball-bearing-25x52x15-mm

    Been thinking about it and your shaft is 1", convert the measurement you have and it comes out to .996" which is .012" bigger than 25mm. No wonder the new bearing won't go on.

    The only logical explanation is what @SuperAir said as to why one bearing fits and one don't.
