I would have made a scene. That's just outright ignorant!

Same, one of mine was 20 pounds and triple pawed.

Freddie was a favorite of mine, only double pawed. He loved to lay on the bathroom sink (couldn’t fit in any more), when you walked in, would let you pat him, then he would go all nuts and swat the big ass paws with a slap sound.

Tow strap, 4low. Have somebody watch the concrete for movement. Replace in the fall when nurseries have end of summer sales. I don't think a severe prune will give you what your looking for and even if it does regrowth will be multi year

That spot by the door would be a nice place for a Wine & Roses weigela

My neighbor gave me a gift yesterday of a small paperweight with a picture of my dog on it that she painted.
She told me she has trouble finding rocks to paint so she learned to make her own with a mold and cement.
Unexpected to get and wonderful to have!

Precious, AKA Peckerhead, had 7 toes in front 5 in back. Only one cat my vet saw in 30 something years had more. Lived to be 20.

Thug Rose, one of my 3, is a fullbred tricolor. No extra toes. Has a meow that's inaudible to human ears.

Might not be the worst idea. I will probably hack it down and see what happens and then potentially replace it.

If I do replace it, it will be an easy plant to grow there, and no damn thorns. I chopped out a rose bush because it had thorns. Hate thorns.

That is awesome! Does she do commissioned/sales?

Can anyone recommend a place near Wells. ME to camp? Seems like backcountry camping isnt an option around those parts. Campgrounds ok.

Pine ridge campground it's a bit south and inland but a nice spot.

yeah you won’t get much for boondocking down there. You MIGHT closer to Machias/Downeast, or up toward Ft. Kent. Into the north maine woods you can, but it’s more controlled than say GMNF or something.

I had a couple like that and ended up just cutting them down and digging out the roots. One of them ended up with a huge hornets nest buried deep inside. Fortunately, I found that before I started cutting and had an exterminator come and get rid of it. Inside, under all that green is a lot of dead stuff and it does not come back.

There is a bunch just a bit further north in the Saco, old orchard area. Never been to any of them.

And is one minute from my house and have no idea if it's legal. No gates and no signs saying not to enter

we used to stay at a place called Stadig,it was a while ago so not sure how it is right now. The location is key, cant beat it. Close to rt 1, but just enough off the beaten path and wooded. Hard to find that in that area campgrounds. It was pretty bare bones, but no complaints. The last i stayed there was probably over 15 years ago.
