So yous guys mentioning CD's got me looking. These are the only ones that I somehow have made it here. o_O

I know I had a bunch more, but I've moved 4 times in the past 9 years. Guess stuff was bound to have gotten lost. Everything has a digital backup on my computer luckily. But Hell, the 2021 Tacoma don't even have no CD player...

There's a guy I work with that's a good electronics guy; works on old arcade stuff. He can most likely figure it out. I need to bring it to him and give him say a $200 budget to get it somewhat functional.

I have an early 80's Hitachi that I've gotten working, but the dial potentiometers(sp?) need torn apart and cleaning.

Must be somethin’ wrong with me but I always ask “what packed it in” or “what went wrong”. Can’t believe some guys settle for “it’s the board” & leave ‘er at that. Like, how do you ever learn anything. :notsure:

    Everything is going that way.

I have small wooden holders that keep about 30 each. Try to keep all the A's together, then B's, etc..

Bah, nerd it up. I have a 86 Schwinn Predator Freeform EX I restored and a 85 Hutch Wind Styler I built, still has original paint/decals.

Good collection there especially the Uncle Acid. Don't think I ever saw the ZZ album.

Can you go the acetone route to fix the pot like I did with my speakers?

I got the volume control sorta working buy spraying it down with contact cleaner and working it. Probably will have to de-solder the pot itself and go further. This will all be winter stuff I can do while it's cold and can't work outside.

Leave a tag on it so you don’t have to remember what’s been done or what’s still wrong. Tags have better memory than me these days even though I get half a year of Winter to work on it.

Bike class time, 27” bike rims are an oddball rim size from back in the day, nobody uses them anymore. 700 C is your standard road bike rim size, “10 speed” bike rims.

Fuji Saratoga, Drop bar refers to the handlebars.

Apparently he is, too. We were going to make a Costco run in it, I went inside for a minute and he left.

At the way back job I walked in the shop to hear the howl of the electric/hydraulic press on the relief valve.

Two fools were crowded over it, as I was stepping over to investigate there was a sharp explosion.
They were trying to press a 25mm bearing on a 1" shaft :smack: -- the bearing made a sudden departure from the scene.:boom:

Bits-o-bearing were imbedded in 2 sheetrock walls and the tile ceiling, the fools escaped without a scratch, maybe a bit wiser -- maybe needing clean Fruit of the Looms.
