    anyone here work with well pumps? mine just shit the bed and im wondering if there's a huge difference in the $300 well pump and a $800 one. I really don't feel like dropping $800 on an identical replacement for the one that I have right now

    pretty sure the motor seized up. shes got power but just gives me that electric motor thats seized up hum.

    how large is your pressure tank?

    i have no experience with replacing the pump, but I've heard if your pressure tank is too small it can burn out the pump from cycling so often.

    I swapped out my pressure tank a while back with an 86 gallon so when the well pump runs, it goes for a decent amount of time to keep from short cycling.

    also, what is the GPM between the two pumps you are looking at? You want it to match what you have now, I would think.

    If anyone wants these skids they're Bud Built and thicc. You just need to get some grade 8 hardware and you'll be good to go. For first Gen Taco. $300.
