I try not to use hammers too much, they are heavy to lug around after all. :ballchain:

:hattip:Good morning guys. Have a great Thursday. It was a fun time in here yesterday.

Road bike gearing was and still is notoriously too high for most people. It’s all set up for speed with no real consideration for normal people trying to climb hills and use them for “normal” rides. Changing the crank rings and rear cassette is always one of the first things I do on a bike, make it work for me and my short legs.

Some of yawl have seen this trailer I’m redoing in the tractor, mower, and trailer thread.

    5A27E8AE-909F-412E-AA9E-5130A33A7369.jpg

My neighbor growing up was a pipe welder and he made this trailer in 1981, I bought it from him around 2000ish.

Wayne was always drunk and always in a bad mood when not working but took pride in his work. He fenced in 20 acres to keep us from riding 4 wheelers on his land in 1985, he dug every fence post by hand and put the woven wire fence up by himself.

Look at these welds, I know people who can’t mig weld this good and he did it with a stick welder.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, do your best at what you do, somebody may be bragging on your work 41 years from now

Do you collect just the cars? Or do you have a track and diorama set up? What scale do you collect?

No layout. I just like the artwork. Most have never been out of their boxes.

    They are O-27 scale.
