First time going clipless at the park. Felt like clips were a little too far forward on shoes, go to a bench to scoot them back a few mm and do my best JB impression with less cameras, and well no one saw me….

I do think the clipless make the super short cranks shine more.

Now if they'll throw an Orbea Rise H30 on 20-25 % off I'll be in the market.

The Ripley is promising, but the Ripmo is too close to the Arrival for me to bite.
If they would've went DVO on the Ripley I'd consider it.
The Ripmo is a good deal comparatively at $2925, and you won't get a bike spec'd better at that price from anywhere else.

Ripley AF with the DVO Topaz seems like it would be a pretty killer trail bike. I was pretty strongly considering the regular Ripley with a topaz too. Would have pulled the trigger if I could have found a frame back then. Probably should have just got a Ripmo though and called it a day.

being slightly cheaper than precovid and with the current rate of inflation, being back where we were in 2020 is actually a reasonable discount.

Have a roof rack that I actually really like because it's visibility and ease of tailgate (4runner) use is great, but a platform rack is definitely easier to just toss them on.

Found a Thule platform rack on marketplace for $250. Should I spring for it?

New bike day! I went with the Offering because I wanted more of an aggressive trail bike than an efficient enduro bike. Push coil also went on last night!

Definitely a good price and something I’d be down to upgrade over time…I just upgraded my gravel bike drivetrain which has been getting way more use so my wallet might not be too happy haha

I'm not sure where you saw it, but I can't imagine there are too many of them out there! It was kinda hard to find one of the new Lyrik's in green...

Not a terrible deal, and certainly easier than a roof rack. My first tray rack was a Thule and worked well. If you have a front fender on your bike that sticks out the front of the fork, it will interfere with the clamp.

    Congrats!! She’s a looker.

Is that a factory RS option green lyrik or a custom cerakote style thing?

NVDM, I googled it. That’s cool.

Man that looks good! Congrats! Be sure to update us on riding experience. I'm especially interested in how it handles the pedally stuff more than just big climbs or big descents.

What's the difference between pedally and big climb?

I got out on my first real ride on it, with push coil. It's so good! I don't have everything dialed yet and I still PR'd most of my favorite loop.

It's light and efficient on the climbs and will likely save me some energy. I think it's rowdy enough for all my descents too. Plenty slack for steep stuff, even in the higher geometry setting. The travel feels pretty bottomless and the coil basically made brake bumps go away. I also think this new Lyrik is the best fork I've ever been on. Definitely better than the outgoing Lyrik. I could maybe see the stiffness of a zeb or 38 bring beneficial on super rowdy stuff, but this is plenty of fork for 99% of my rides. I'll admit I haven't ridden any of the Fox stuff from the last few years though.
