Anyone keep the overload leaf with headstrong 3 pack aal? Any issues short or long term? Finding I had to chop off the front alignment bracket of the overload spring as it hits the one on the 3 pack.

I left my overload leaf on my 05 and didn't have any problems. I also had the progressive aal from headstrong. It was on there for 4 years with no issues. It also seems my alignment brackets were in a different area compared to yours.

Believe they redesign their 3 pack a couple years ago. The pack comes with a singular alignment bracket on the front.

I left mine in. It took an extra bit of grinding and bracket removal. No noticeable change in ride when empty, but it does ride a bit stiff when towing/loaded. Which is what I wanted, I'd rather it hit the overload than the bump stops.

Just curious how much lift you got after install. I'm considering the same leaf pack.

2in but the rivet on the alignment bracket on the 3 pack is now resting on the overload spring. It will be ok for the short term but probably just get a whole new leaf pack at some point.
