Your post poked my curiosity and I found this. The Tacoma is not on the list, but the Tundra is. The fastest trucks are the EV trucks.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
Isn't there some federal rule potentially affecting truck parts? Thought I read last year about certain "racecar" parts like headers being not applicable to street trucks so some companies were backing off on sales to avoid the hassle. Unless that was all marketing lies trying to convince people to buy quick.

Every thread eventually turns into a thread about tunes.

Not headers/dump tubes, but I happen to have a Doug Thorley catless y-pipe with resonators still sitting in my garage in need of a loving home lol ELP, TX

The reg cab V8s, would be driven on the street RWD or 4x4 and modified, somehow not sure how they got there those would be faster than the uber offroad 1/2 tons. I saw a nice current generation Rousch Mustang today.

The Raptor and TRX are more offroad performance oriented out of the box

The Tacoma is far more practical than any of those other trucks.

Haven't drove a 3rd gen manual, I'm sure you can get one moving.

You know, I noticed that on this site. I road Harleys for 35 years and was on a couple of Harley sites. No matter what you asked, you got a straight answer. I learned so much because I was never reluctant to ask a question over there. I'm guessing it was because the average age of the people on Harley sites was older. Thanks to the moderator for banning that guy.

I think it’s part of the culture on this forum to give people shit at times. I learned to accept and eventually embrace it to a degree. In this case, I think it was a little over the top since the question wasn’t an obviously over asked, lazy, stupid sort of question that we see a lot.

Seems to be endemic here. There are some good people though, along with some who I really dont care what their opinion is. I always wonder would they talk to their grandmother the same way?

If his grandmother was on this forum asking how big of tires she can fit on a 3” lift with no rubbing, yes.

EDIT: or better… if his grandma was asking how she could take a dump in the back of her taco in order to guard her $7000 bicycle while at the gas station, yes. (Not sure if everyone will get the reference)

any car with no cat will reek of fuel. you can smell them if a car has a modified exhaust...they usually remove the cat.

I’ve got 4.88’s and a KD Max tune. Love them both. But still looking for more performance. Doing my best not to buy a magnusun:D

Just go buy a TRX. The best $76k I have ever spent - so much nicer than the Tacoma.

You may want to give Blackhawk 2.0 a chance. I had KDMAX…this one is far superior. The TC changes are amazing not to mention the constant power

I just think it was more of a sarcastic statement toward the op. You take for what it is, and move on...no big deal. Seems there are some that can't accept a little humor.
