Problems with Softopper

Anyone else have an issue with softopper customer service?
Ordered topper w/ dog cut out window. Window was not shipped with topper.
They’re phone option is disabled and not replying to my email inquiry (about a month).
Aside from driving there…. Any suggestions?

 

I've heard of a lot of complaints coming from other members here about their shady customer service.

 

they were super helpful when I bought one off of a guy and needed to have some panels replaced. the lady on the phone sat down with me for about an hour while we tried to figure out what exact model I had ( I bought it off of a ford guy who bought it off a dodge guy who didn't know what it came off of) so that the panels would fit right. I gave them a 10/10. that was a few years ago though.

 

Should have went with bestop. I chose softop because they offer it in tan and my truck is tan …

 

They don’t offer phone anymore as a means of communication.
I gave them a 0/10 rating in the customer service email as a last ditch effort to hear back

 

well thats pretty crappy on their part. there's nothing like good old fashioned mouth to ear comms. sorry you're having problems.

 

Bestop owns Softopper now, maybe they are now a bit overwhelmed and customer service is crapping out? I got my black top in less than two weeks, seems the lead times are spotty. Did your top have a Made in Mexico tag on it?

Hmmm... I purchased a topper on the 29th of June... few hours later got an update that it was shipped, then received a tracking number.... since then I check the tracking number and freight company says they haven't received it yet. There website say expect 2 to 3 weeks on some models, so I am being patient. Hope it all works out alright...

As soon as they(and most places)get an order they will print a shipping label but tracking won’t progress til the carrier picks it up. I got mine in 13 days, seems the tan ones take longer for some reason

 

6 weeks later, and I still haven’t gotten a shipping notification. Sent an email, heard nothing in over a week. 6 foot bed topper… kind of a bummer.

 

Is this a viable option

bought a black short bed topper June 11th at my door June 18th

 

Bestop bought out Softopper so probably wouldnt change much on the CS side. Softopper's look better than Bestop's anyway

 

I have one I ordered May 26th got notification it shipped June 9th -- Still has not arrived - at least ten emails to customer service and 5 Phone calls to Customer service NO RELPIES!!!!! Customer service is non existent at Softtopper
