Has anyone tried to replace the clip on the front of this driver's side door panel bezel, circled in yellow below? Mine rattles. The bezel itself seems intact, but there needs to be a bit more 'grab' on this clip to keep it still, as the bezel moves around too much...

I haven't really investigated this, just thought maybe someone had come up with one of those trick fixes...

    Thanks!

Roll up some butyl and wrap it around where the clip should go. It will hold great and won't be permanent.

It's essentially a rubber version of bubble gum. Similar to the stuff holding that clear moisture barrier underneath the door panel.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I use Silicone holds it in place and can be removed pretty easy.

A few spots around the whole piece .

In my case those clips were long gone.

I did consider ideas like these, thanks for the suggestions to both of you. I guess when I pull it off this afternoon, I'll see what that clip looks like.

Place a strip of vinyl tape (electric tape) in the hole for the clip.

Combo of electric tape on the clip, and a small piece of 1/8" sticky back foam on the back clip fixed the rattle. It was the only thing making noise in my cab. Not bad for a 20 year old truck.

I looks like it is a metal clip, you could just try bending the ears on it out slightly.

Winner winner chicken dinner. I pulled the bezel, spread the clip a bit, and voila, no more rattle. I feel sort of stupid for not trying this first before asking...
