Just got my 2008 back from getting hood and roof repainted. Pretty stoked. Now to keep the freakin birds off my new paint for 30 days until I can ceramic coat it. Also used new drip mouldings.

Installed a URD MAF calibrator. Only took a spin around the block but so far I've noticed little change. I'll give it some time to calibrate. I also haven't put the included sticker on my truck yet, so that could be where the real hp gains are.

I’ve been driving without a visor for going on 2 years now due to the 2nd Gen saggy visor dilemma. Finally had enough and fixed the damn thing with 4 strategically placed zip ties, inserted/tied through drilled out holes.
Tried supergluing (if you’re wondering what the stains on the plastic are) and that was a complete waste of time.
Functions good as new now :thumbsup:27337285-B585-404D-BDDB-5A07F41BCF5C.jpg

Yo bro! Good repair. Zip ties solve a ton of issues. I changed my g2 seat covers, cushions were OK. Those metal rings are near impossible to reinstall. But if you zip tie? Changing your seat covers takes 3 hours top to bottom......

    few things here and there.

Tbh, not bad at all. I think having it hidden def restricts it a tad. I’d like more flood power, but I mean.. it’s in the bumper haha. Overall, solid 9/10. Provides a really good spotlight. Def won’t replace a 50 inch roof bar though.

Tom Woods one piece drive shaft installed.
After 3” lift I had a slight shudder at take off and mild vibration at 70ish. Now, no issues 0-85mph, very happy.

    None... yet.
    Looks sweet! Love that color!

Love that guy! When I pulled my water pump, the bolt on the far driver's side was VERY hesitant the whole time I was ratcheting it out. Sure enough, had some cross threading/metal in the threads. Ran my cheap thread chaser over it, added a bit of teflon tape, and it appears to be holding nicely! Super happy I didn't have to mess with the bolt hole itself...

I'm in the same boat, same exact symptoms, a drop didn't do much but take the edge off - time to look into this too. Looks good.

Sounds like what I’m going to have to do, exact same symptoms. What was the install like?

I have been a mechanic/machinist most of the past 45 years. Used many taps, die nuts and helicoils. The best tool in my tool box is a Craftsman thread chasing tool. Has saved me many many times.

Those are nice. I like to keep a triangle file on hand too. Takes more time, but they are very effective.

Towing that F150 on a car hauler for 6 miles was an absolute nightmare. Extremely scary. The ABS kicked in at a couple of red lights and it damned near caused an accident both times. The truck has felt "looser" ever since that tow. Never again!!!

I bought 500 bolts once last year and the Priority box looked like a bag. upload_2022-7-15_10-53-51.jpg
I had 112 damaged bolts. With that thread chaser tool and an air ratchet I saved all but 11. Triangle files do work well but I would still be filing on those bolts.
