Goodmorning crew. I do hope the day passes quickly, but much of that prospect highly depends on the amount of motivation I'm able to muster up.

I have that pump set on the mill table but it's not anchored down yet. I'm leaning towards putting off that particular work until the new guy is with me so he can learn. I'm off Mondays he has Fridays off.
Then I got to thinking about that machines different modes of feed.....wishing I would have refresh my memory and run it a little more before I put that 90° angle attachment on. Don't want the spindle to be in a feed mode with that head on there

They are good machines, I’ve been using this one 27 years and it was here before me

 

I’m glad I didn’t take $300 from that guy the other day for my boat. Two young guys pulled in yesterday while I was mowing the yard and bought it for $550, zoom in on the back window and check out that guys smile. They were as excited as I was when I bought it.

I went to grab my dads 8x12 trailer after work yesterday, I'm going to start replacing the 2x4x16's that are on my back deck. After the catastrophe of the last batch bending my tailgate and falling out into traffic, I figure I better just use a trailer.

I went to remove the gate with a deadblow and realized his gate has greaseable bushings but the cylinders that house the bushings were welded on with the zerks facing the same direction, meaning I can't remove the gate at all. I would need to cut that cylinder off, flip it and weld it back on. Not sure what I'm gonna do.

Yes I could use 2x4x8's or 12's for my deck but I'd really rather everything uniform as the ones I've already replaced.

Can you borrow someone else's trailer to haul them? I wouldn't use shorter ones, years from now when they start pulling up and you hit your toe you'll regret it.
