All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I will have some spots ready here in just a little bit on my property. Will be a good time for an extended weekend.
Debating on setting up Yurts or just vehicle access.
Tubing, fishing, trail riding, hiking…all from base camp.

Did you end up checking out 261? We're camping at Cooper Creek (north of Suches) next weekend and I'm looking for some off-road opportunities.

I got lucky and the gate was actually open. Nothing too exciting, just more of the same for that type of riding and scenery in that general area.

It uses the iridium network. The Iridium network is the only satellite network that covers the entire world. Just make sure to look into the cost of use because I know it isn’t cheap for service (however, is money an option when safety is on the line)? I am looking at getting the Iridium Extreme phone.

I had a nice little adventure today. First off I had the spotted pig for lunch. You can tell it's good when you walk in. The room smells delicious. Then I took a paddle board trip up a creek that empties into lake hartwell. What's cool about the creek besides being really beautiful is there is a waterfall on it.

Doing some fishing at Lake Notely this weekend. Any recommendations on lures, leaders, etc? Kids would love to net some striper bass. 95% of my fishing is saltwater, so bass fishing is new ground for me.

And they demolished the rest out of safety concerns.

I never knew those existed, but they would have been cool to see.

I'm not aware of any in the North Georgia mountains. There are lots of places named "_____ Springs," but I'm not aware of any actual freshwater springs north of the Fall Line besides Lithia Springs west of Atlanta. I grew up in South Georgia and the North Florida Panhandle and we had ample springs all around us. I'm actually headed down to Wakulla Springs next weekend to dive in those deep, fresh waters.

    Followup:
These guys over in Dalton probably know where or how to find springs in the Piedmont and mountain zones of Georgia:

Seems to me there was a lot to this than "the authorities" are talking about.

    Sad times...

There are tons of cameras covering that site from every angle. Some are easily viewable and others are concealed. The authorities have more video than they are sharing (active investigation and all that- they don't show all their cards), but they've shared a shot of a car that looks like a silver Mercedes sedan speeding away, and a guy carrying up a LOT of explosives and setting them up at the base.

Have they refilled the lake? I saw an announcement last month that it was drained for repairs.
