I missed 2 games - damned ipad fail! Lol.

I'm a little bit chuffed about the ipad battery replacement. I had a small, local store replace it in December and it started to fail again last week. Wouldn't hold a charge and would shut off and reboot after a minute or so. I initially took it there because of great reviews and it's very close. Very nice people, but terrible service and organization. They don't answer the phones and the shop is just disorganized random piles of electronics (they couldn't find my ipad the first time I had them do the battery, after they called to tell me to come pick it up, but eventually did).

They warranty for 12 months, but now they tell me not for labor. So the initial cost, with taxes, was $140. Now I'm going to be charged $50 for labor to replace the bad battery they put in. So $190 for a battery swap. Frack me.

Four. Looks like four is a standard for most over the last few days...

 

Five yesterday, four today. Seems like this month has been tougher than last month -- my average score has definitely taken a hit, and halfway through the month we're on pace for a top score in the 90s while we hit 117 last month.

 

Of course it is. The reason I play it online is because I don't have any friends.

Spoiler: My guesses so far

So the D is both yellow and grey. I take that to mean it only appears once in the correct word, and it's not in the first spot. HOWEVER, because the last spot is a grey D, indicating there is only 1, could the yellow D go in that last spot?

Is the logic of the game to identify correct letter by color for the first letter checked (yellow D), then any duplicate letter not in the word gets grey, regardless of location, even if the second one is in the correct spot?

I've used up all the vowels and am trying to see how the D fits in. That's how I came up with that twisted stuff above.

 

Yeah that means there's only one, no it wouldn't turn up Grey if it was in the correct spot
