Sounds pricey when you can buy a new OR for 42K. Then again you can't find a new one. I've been working with a salesman on the Landers allocation and the ones that arent already spoken for are selling in like 30 mins. New gen coming soon if you can hold out, but first years are always iffy.

Yeah I’m not really looking to get a brand new one. I know for not much more money but that’s another 6-10k I’m not looking to spend.

Anymore, it's tough to search online for cars because the turnover is so quick or maybe because they're selling faster than people want to update their websites. When I was looking for mine, I was using cargurus, but its listings are not very up to date sometimes. I recently learned you can search all of the Toyota Certified Pre-owned's on toyotacertified.com. Might be handy if you're into that.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
    Understand that.
I spent more than i wanted on a used Tundra but still saved 10k compared to new base price. Plus, no one had a new one at base price. They all had another 10k of bs added on.

I ended up driving 3 hours to find one. Autotrader seemed to be best site because a lot of other sites cross list to it. You just have to call actual dealer to be sure they still have it once you find it online because they are pretty slow to remove listings.

I like to look on AutoTempest when I'm bored looking for cars and trucks I can't afford. It gathers listings from many websites into one.

The Toyota CPO warranty and such is pretty intense too. Worth it

Getting the Taco ready to roll out for some PNW and BC overlan...uh touring, whatever you want to call it. Original plan was to go all the way up to drive the Dempster highway, but the Yukon is a mess, so I'm going to run a couple of canned routes and enjoy the cooler weather up there.

It's 72"x48" closed, you could mount one on a cab rack...but it would overhang front and rear a little.

Got in a little float on the Buffa-low yesterday. 7 hours of sun later, called it good.

Milwaukee battery fan will come on every summer trip in the tent. 10/10 would recommend.

Well went with the 2016 TRD off road access cab. Pretty happy with purchase. Hopefully she’ll be as good to me as my 2012 was.

1000 miles into my trip, trying to cool off in Beulah WY right now. Drove up and camped near Davis, SD last night. Did some classic tourist stuff crossing SD today...Corn Palace, Wall Drug, and drove through downtown Sturgis. Learned that my Taco gets 10 mpg at 80mph, sheeeeeeiiiiiiiitttt.

Tomorrow we visit Devil's Tower and will be camping at a brewery in Ten Sleep Wyoming.

Hey guys, I’m from central Arkansas. Been on here some, mostly browsing. I joined to learn more about Tacomas and mods. I picked up a ‘15 DCSB TRD OR about a year ago. So far, I love it! I’m not much of an off-road type. I bought it mostly for a hunting truck.
