I did the ac drain line extension. Is it a problem if the hose touches the heat shield of the exhaust? I have some tape.

Happy Friday! So, no issues with fitment. Only issues I had was not having the T55 star bit but I bought a inexpensive set at harbor freight.

Also, I had put together the side pieces backwards bc I’m a dufus before actually installing the panel on the truck so it was a quick fix. Definitely make sure the double holes are on the bottom. Don’t make the same mistake I did lol.

Here’s a finished pic. Just finished it up today.

Would love to have those puddle pods, but, wow! The install requires WAY too much for me! Half the truck has to come apart just to install two little lights. But, they are really nice.

It’s really not that bad. I would say reading all of the posts about the install and door boots makes it out it be much worse than it is. Once I fished the boots once for the puddle pods, the second time around for the switchbacks wired to the DRL’s took about 20 minutes per door. And that’s removing all panels, mirrors, switches to run wires and pit everything back together. Just make sure you test all lights before re-assembly. Definitely worth the time

Next will be cutting out the 3 stock ones and installing the @MESO 6 switch panel. Then comes the part where I actually make them do something…..

Yeah I’m pretty salty about it, I am seriously considering charging back the amount I was charged due to the damage. He also put the top hats on backwards.. I usually do everything myself but I did not have access to a sprint compressor…

Thanks for the feedback, he also put the top hats on backwards that I had to correct during install… I have the guys number and can contact him through text, what should I say? Deeply saddens me that it is a veteran owned business..

& yes it’s the same on both sides

Finally got around to drilling and bolting my fishing rod racks on securely. They were mounted using the mounts they came with, but it was horribly unsecure. Sure the racks locked, but you could just loosen the finger bolts and remove the racks with my expensive rods still in it. Now the racks are bolted through my bed rack (carriage bolts) and when closed and locked the wing nuts are inside the rack and cant be touched.

What did you need a compressor for with preassembled coilovers? Unless you swapped out the springs you should be able to adjust ride height while they're still installed on the truck.

Ahh. Still though, a shop should use a wall-mounted unit for springs this beefy, which will leave the adjustment collars easy to adjust. Really not cool. I would never let a vehicle I've worked on leave like that. :/

Anyone else install one of these dash panels from Fitztaprint via Etsy or another brand (meso, guild outfitters, ect)? Appears I need to pick up a dremel tomorrow to notch the dash support itself and the rear power window switch mounting hole as the mounting bar tabs are different on each side of the switch. Wondering if the other brands require as much cutting? :annoyed::sawzall:
