Prime day lights came in and I’m trying to figure out where I want to mount them. To me this spot where my 3pc crash bars bolt together on either side makes a whole lot of sense, but i’m not sold. Where do y’all have yours mounted at? I have a set of pipe mount clamp things to mount them anywhere on the crash bar tubing, too.

Although it is older and has higher mileage, I'd rather have this superduke - https://tricities.craigslist.org/mcy/d/elizabethton-ktm-superduke/7508588684.html

This is my first dual sport bike. These tires are Shinko 804/805. So far no issues. Have had the bike up to 70 with no weird vibrations. They have done great offroad and on.

Was going to ask how you liked that new rear... and then I kept reading...

    Also, done? Really?

Nice! That tread pattern looks badass...

RE: my ongoing search, wife found a couple of XSR900's that "appear" to be in stock. One in Fredericksburg and one in Unionville. Will be calling ASAP!

Well shit, now I have to do it haha. One on the Navi, one on the F800GS, it'll just look squinty a bit.

The Navi had a bolt on set of reflectors on the front that I can use those mounting points to make a quick bracket. Sounds like an excellent sunday welding project  And I think I have enough scrap pieces of random LED and other wiring harnesses laying around I can piece together something to wire it in. Might need to 3d print a holder for the switch, not enough room on the bars for a clamp mount like that. Definitely doable on the cheap cheap though.
