    I liked Panama City - we'd pull in for port calls on some patrols. No girlfriend though, just some yummy steakhouses. Skinny asian dude wandering off on their own doesn't really strike the locals as 'GI' though.. ;) And if someone asked I'd just say I'm Canadian lol.

    I might have crossed paths with your father…similar timelines. Earned my wings at Mather in 1984, went east coast so RAG training at VP-30 Jacksonville, FL late ‘84, first squadron tour VP-11 Brunswick, ME started in January 1985.

    you can get a DUI in NC for the same thing

    if you are drunk and take that mower/tractor onto the public street in front of your house and the law sees you do this, stops and makes you blow/you fail - you can be charged with a DUI

    i had a LEO tell me a story about this one guy in a tractor who plowed fields drunk, it was a known thing that he did this
    one day someone got fed up and called the law - they came out, watched him turn the tractor around in the roadway = gotcha
    stopped him, had him blow, charged him

    at least here LEO has to see you drive it on the street - but turning around counts 100%
