The mail lady probably has them rolling around in the back of her truck. I'll put a note out for her to check with a photo of the piece attached!

I never said I did, as mine just started to. But, would rather keep an oem rod end that will last and be a weak link, than stick a heim in, introduce bump steer, make the rack more prone to breaking, and have an exposed joint that will squeak/wear faster. If you dont like it seeping, put a hose clamp on it or get some of the greasable rod ends that purposely seap the old grease out.

I’m familiar with wheeling without these and with these. I prefer to wheel with them and they are much easier to maintain. I was breaking/ripping stock outers so I have upgraded. Since then I have been happy and wheeled the truck hard with no regrets. I also have had no difference in bump steer even when pushing the truck fast. I also wasn’t advocating that these are a must have and everyone should buy them and if they aren’t for you then just don’t hit them man.

This thread is for the product @WarFab Armor developed and I was answering questions about my setup.

Yup, I have not touched my outers so not sure how heims are easier to maintain in my case but almost every truck with heims/uniballs I work on squeaks, and or they have play. I have ran heims for years on other builds so I know what they are like.
I posted how my tie rods are doing, and said why I think heims are pointless for a stock setup, while they are on topic.
Anyways, the last couple pages have been about corollas, gas prices, and heimed outers, so lets get back to the sleeves.

Heims are easier to maintain because I don’t have to replace broken outers, replace them from torn boots, or replace them because they are clapped out. A couple dabs of Tri flow and cleaning after wheeling trips is considered easy in my opinion. There’s a lot of things I think pointless on this forum (for example third gens) but I don’t go around replying letting people know that.

The third gen comment was a joke and I think you’ve got an awesome build going and it’s great you use it. Anyways, back on topic.
