That's a horrible idea. What time?
Morning all. Silly event for the day. Family Day at work today, building tours, things for kids to do, food, and car show for employees. Since I get asked about my truck at work, I'm taking it in to let people gawk at for a bit. Only regret is I didn't have time to hit a trail and get it really dirty first!

Good morning crew. I just got back from getting a hair cut, looking sexy again. I'm off to the GF's house, really dreading it because my little Orange buddy doesn't have much time left. He's fighting the illness but it has taking its toll. As much as I want a miracle to happen, the reality is that it's a blessing that he is even still here. I hate this part of loving an animal, it just hurts knowing that he won't be there on the sofa meowing at me when I walk through the door the next time. Damn eyes keep leaking...

    Good late morning,

To-Do list getting backed up a hour or two by a grand child o_O :rofl::rofl:

Con made lasagna and the Granddaughter needs to eat before "I make them work" :fistbump:....

Rainbow Eucalyptus tree is getting "Set" into the ground in its "permanent place".. this thing amazes me the way it changes colors as it "sheds bark"

And then the "Fun" begins... need to reset an awning thats been giving me $hit since my Dad owned the home...My son says if we can't fix it with wood and screws a steel beam and a welder :sawzall::welder::welder:

I am thinking he wants Dad to purchase a welder :confused: :p

Everyone get out and enjoy your day...:hattip:

I'm no electrician, but I occasional have to. The part that can get real confusing for me real fast is the pump and control wiring (floats) in the lift stations as well as everything that goes with them in the buildings. Once it gets into the buildings I usually have someone on the phone and I'm sending pictures so we can do a "redneck zoom meeting" (voice and pictures, no video).

This is a typical box. There are 2 different power panels that it needs to work (120v and 480v) when it's hot, a guy wants to be careful what they touch.

wish i had gone the electrican way when i was young but was too wild n stupid. FIL was an awsome electrican and tried to teach me but i wasted that oppurtunity. our plant has processors in the panels now. our top elect. can do alot with just a laptop. i wanted a reset button moved to another panel and would have took all day on maintenance so gets laptop out. picks a button that just test the row of jam lites to see if a bulb is out, 10 minutes later and bam! push button checks the bulbs,.3second hold push resets.never touched anything just used the laptop

When you have the door open and one of those magnetos slams and you hear that distinct power hum it'll get your attention.

I've learned quite a bit. Comfortable with some of it but not all of it. Even though there is a wire size difference between signal (controls), 120 and 480 I still make damn sure what I'm touching because sometimes it has to stay hot to troubleshoot, but my preference is to start flipping breakers and knife switches off as soon as possible. I've seen 480 flash a couple times and it's wicked.

The toughest part about loving pets, when you have to say goodbye.
My heart goes out to you, but now is the time that his needs must outweigh your wants.
    Blessings to you both.

That looks about how I imagined.
When I make shrimp burritos at home I use cream and a couple different cheeses and some diced tomato. It's a little messy but it's great. Learned it from a taco place on the border we use to go to.
