this guy needs to rake mine. just need a 10yd truck of some fresh 7/8" minus. yes it looks ok. yes im ocd and like it prim. are chippers cool to brag about here too? i bought a good one and am going to burn a few gallons with it.

its not big but it will run up to 4" all day. i probably have 120hrs since april on it. dr 400 pro.
my seasonal creek is dry for summer but this thing is an animal for only 1500$ im very pleased with it. only chipper available at a decent cost thats made and support staff in america. i wont buy anything china at all cost.

 

the run you see took 3hrs with a cordless sawzall and my chipper and me. ear protection mandatory. eye protection too. its like an 8hp garbage disposal. it inaliates, lost a couple leather gloves but no fingers.

 

my other prize machine. stihl 460c brush saw with tomahawk blade. 2nd largest they make. like an effing hand held tree processor. no guard for a blade this big. shot a rock through my lip and broke a tooth this spring. i call it monster. almost a 4hp weed cutter. its amazing. cuts alder like its paper.

i assume you mean the blade and not my cracked tooth. this thing is savage. all you gotta do is rev higher and swing hard. it lops a 2" alder without mercy. turns blackberrys to confetti

 

Well, if that cap wasn't the problem causing my transmission leak, it was certainly a problem. I only ended up taking the reservoir off the transmission to get to it. Pretty easy job.

The replacement cap is metal with a rubber coating on the top, so if the rubber tears like this one did it won't leak.

its a great tool. my dad is a retired logger and bought it for a house gift. i have 2.5 acres of unmanaged creek area. this is boss. i would have killed a homeowner rated one in a month. this thing gets er dun.

It is a tremendously satisfying machine to run. You start with a huge mess and make it disappear.
To really be efficient it takes a 3 person crew: 1) feeds the machine 2) keeps the feeder supplied 3) keeps the discharge clear

It is only me so I'm not very efficient...

 

carharts and coors light seem to be sufficient.
