OMG! It finally happened! I got an alert today - tire pressures at 37-38, almost out of gas, and 4 miles on the odometer! I was surprised at the 4 miles already, since it's supposed to just be sitting at the Veracruz port - but it seems like it finally might be moving!

It's kinda silly that we are reduced to being happy about tire pressure, door unlocks, and odometer mileage. LOL - but it is what it is, I suppose...

haha I feel the same way!! But from everything I see it’s worth the wait and I’m gonna enjoy this journey cuz once I get my taco It’s gonna be a hell of day and I’m most likely gonna drive that thing to the grave. Or if not it’s gonna be a hell of a kit that someone else gets to ride while I work on another taco

Today marks 8 months since deposit, NO allocation. It appears it's the advanced Tech and premium packages that aren't being accepted. For those curious this is what I put a deposit on

TRD-OR, DCLB, MGM or similar, premium OR package, Advanced tech...

Not as long as you, but still no allocation for me either. All I wanted was LED headlights, Tech Package, TRD-Sport, and DCSB. Really want Lunar Rock too but will pretty much take any color except Silver. Don't want two silver vehicles.

I think the long bed and advanced tech combo is making it especially tough for you to get an allocation (hell, these days even the basic tech package is rare). In my layman's opinion Toyota is reserving most or all of the advanced tech sensors for the Limited and Pro Tacomas since it is mandatory on those trims. The premium package does not seem to be as much of a holdup. I ended up abandoning my search for an advanced tech Tacoma since it was essentially impossible to get with the manual gearbox; while the basic technology package is certainly very helpful, the additional front/side/360 cameras would have been nice to have while parallel parking and in parking garages/lots.

Good luck with your ongoing search.

How are you getting these alerts? I have a VIN number is there somewhere I can log in to get that kind of info?

    Much appreciated

I think you're right about the tech package and the LED light package. They had a blue crush but it didn't have either. I really like the Blue Crush but in the end I took a silver TDOR crew cab AT, 5ft bed with the LED light package and the tech package

Hey thanks for the tip. I put my VIN in the app and got the correct truck but there was no data available. What might this mean? Still in transit?

Enable the trials and wait a day or so for it to update. It takes a bit when you first install it.
