Steering wheel controls?

    I tried searching for this but I just recently put in a new head unit with the scosche harness for steering wheel controls it has 3 wires on one end but I can't figure out what the go to but my steering wheel controls still work do I need this harness? Thanks in advance

    i dont understand, if you're steering wheel controls work, why are you trying to add more stuff to it?

    I believe there’s three wires that control it, you can take out your radio again see where those three wires are connected to and fuck with it or if it’s a used truck and someone else already had an aftermarket harness in there and you didn’t notice it.

    Does anyone understand if u are using a 3 wire harness to connect your steering wheel controls to your radio. Why are there seven wire coming form the steering wheel control to the clock spring. I know i am missing something, and I know there are smart enough people on here to explain it me. Thank you in advance!
