Sorry Susan it’s what we do we make their lives the best we can while they are here and hope we will see them again someday. I should have a crowd waiting on me because we have had a lot of babies our oldest Jamie has cancer and we’ve been told to expect a month. But so far she acts like Jamie they said a month about two weeks ago but I’ve been watching her closely she will tell me when.

    So sorry for you.
Clarence is my GF's cat, he has only been in my life for a year and a 1/2 but he has made an impression. He actually ate food on Saturday ( he hasn't had much more then a few bites of food daily for the past 3 weeks). He was more alert today and enjoyed a special treat of getting to go outside in the back yard. He is too weak to run away so my GF thought that it would be safe. He enjoyed it and looked happy. We both told him that it was OK for him to leave whenever he needs to but for at least today, he was acting better then he has in a few months.

Oh my god I hate wind!!!! :angrygirl:
And whoever does the weather forecasts around here needs to be fired.
High wind warning for 9am tomorrow. What about 1pm today?!? I just drove 120 miles in hell fighting to keep the camper heading the right way down the damn road.

Well the wife did go down to Illinois for the bridle shower. Meeting the new family members is important. She drove there with her ex-husband wife. The shirt she wore says, The Grooms Mom.

I've been busy. This deck refresh project is getting too involved. I replaced 1 deck board and rebuilt 3 sections of rails. Got 2 more to go, but thats for another day.
    Now it's time relax.

    1) Glad you and your rig made it thru un-harmed.
    ❤️ :oldglory: :fistbump:

    2) If we start firing wx forecasters for getting it wrong because the fickle witch throws a curveball ... well, heck, there won't be any weather forecasters. :notsure:

not a rookie but i think i need to start checking my BP when I get off the road after trips like these. probably near to having a heart attack. my hands hurt from gripping the wheel...this is the one thing i hate about having the camper.
airport (about a mile from my house) is reporting 30mph winds with 50mph gusts yet NO mention of anything on the regional weather anywhere.
coming down the highway, straight and flat, Chebby was struggling to keep us going 60mph @ 3k rpm with the headwind. normally he can hold 70mph at 2.2k

we used to have decent forecasts around here but its gotten really bad this year
for example: a few weeks back just before all of the floods hit here we had a "severe thunderstorm warning" for like 2pm one afternoon. it rained torrents from 9am to 1pm then stopped, then a little shower came through at 2pm that lasted maybe 10 minutes. the whole time during the 4 hour storm the weather apps said it was sunny here! HTF did they miss a 4 hour long monsoon but see a 10 minute drizzle?!!? several storms they've missed all together or by 12 hours. its ridiculous. i usually pay close attention to the forecasts, especially wind, when i'm going to be traveling and try to plan accordingly but its almost impossible to do now.

I reckon like so many across this land of ours they just can't get good help. I'd go on, but then you'd have to ban me, so I won't. ;)

BTW, have you tried "WX Underground?"
I find it very accurate, especially the hourly when looked at the morning day of... :notsure:

Again, glad you are safe Baby Sister. ❤️
