Quick question. So for the rear o2 sensors we reuse the old ones and then attach the sims to the o2 connectors??

Did I mention that mine are on my truck.:D:D:D:D Just got done ,took 3.5 hrs and a couple scraped knuckles to install. The passenger side went fairly easy the drivers side was a PITA,I had to pull my steering shaft to fit.I would recommend getting a sensor socket( it was priceless) , one of the sensor's treads was all jacked but it still went back in. I also extended the sensors lower to the collection chamber. The rear sensor simulator went in like a breeze 1,2,3. Drove around the block no leaks, doesnt sound much different but I have not done the cat back yet, noticed a slight power difference:D,it actually felt like it gained low end:confused:. All in all Im very happy, the only thing that bummed me out is that It didnt come with a Doud Thorley sticker:laughing:

When installing the long tubes on the Tacoma you do not need to pull the steering shaft.

Here is a tip that will make the install a snap.

Remove the top center manifold stud from the cylinder head and leave it out until you have the header in place on the engine.

removing that stud gives you the room to get the header past the steering shaft.

You can use a socket on the end of the stud, a small one, can't remember the size.

Once the header is in place screw the stud in and put the nut on.

thx for the advice guys...excellent point about the ease of removing everything before the bolts seize :D i might wait it out for about 500 miles before installing the DTs though, if i can last that long :p i won't have my truck for a few more weeks, but seems like i might be the only one on this forum who will have an '11 4-banger double cab to install the DT headers. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that there'll be a noticeable improvement...the stock power is adequate, but coming from a V6 Accord i'll want a little more oomph out of the I4. goride, congrats on the install...big improvement?

Just got mine installed! I didn't have to take anything extra out. Driver side was a bit tight but I just wiggled it in there.

hey man, not in az. but these are pretty straight forward and fairly accessable. if you can use some tools i think you can conquer this. start soaking the wd-40 now though.

I would make sure they are still plugged in all the way. Could just be a loose wire. I had to unbolt driver side for it to plug in at all.
