Re: new poll - we need an option for Electric/Heat Pump.

At the time of install it dropped my monthly electric bill by over $60 and came w a sizable rebate (I think $400) from my electric company. As a bonus, it’s like having an air conditioner in my basement.

I have gas, but if solar was a cheaper investment I'd go all electric to lower my living expenses.

If I remember right, you're the dude that works on a bunch of zero turn projects, yeah?

I've got a question for you or anyone else familiar with the 23?hp Kawasaki. I've got a Ferris, older model. Runs well, leaks a bit of oil out the bottom, hydros are good, overall well maintained just old.

I was mowing the other day and when I spun around I noticed a huge cloud of oil smoke. I shut it down immediately and moved it with my loader to my basement doors (where my tools are) to inspect. I refilled the oil which was very low, the moment I start it oil leaks like a sieve from under the flywheel up top. Is this likely the upper crank seal? Motor still starts easily and runs well. No knocking, no tapping. Hopefully I saved it from catastrophic failure...

Hoping to pull the flywheel this week.

The Pacer was originally going to be a much smaller car, GM was developing a light weight rotary engine, AMC was designing a car to fit.

GM shelved the rotary project due to emission concerns, AMC had to adapt the car to fit the conventional in line 6 engines of the time.

A 304 V8 was offered in the later cars too.

    Water heaters:
Had a propane job at home, the propane people were absolute criminals. I was paying over $5 gallon 15 years ago.

Since they own the tank it takes a week of your life and a pile of money to change suppliers.

    The new one is electric.
By the math, electric costs would have to double to match the propane price.

At the garage I have a 19 gallon electric I got at a yard sale for $10.

I know, I tossed a coin to see which I should gamble on. My bet with Shane was a bust.

    Maybe start a new poll:.
Who wants kirk to find the correct bearing?
Or should he just cave and spend the long dollar for spindle assemblies?
