Hey fellow folks with trucks built on 6/4 - seems like we are all waiting in limbo without much if any info… Thought we could use our own thread where we can share updates and commiserate.

I’m waiting on a Barcelona Red TRD-OR V6 4x4 AT DCLB with tech package. All I know is it was built on 6/4 in Baja and it’s just sitting there and my sales guy genuinely doesn’t know why it isn’t moving. I had an unlock notification on my app a week or so ago, but that’s it. I’m in Southern Arizona so my truck will load onto a semi and come directly to dealer, so I know my delay isn’t due to anything rail-related.

What builds are you waiting on? Where are you located? What’s your latest update? What have you been told by your dealer/salesperson?

    (Tagging the other guys I believe also have 6/4 builds… @Notatophat @WestCoastSkiTaco @Turkino @GarrettTacoma @clubfed11)

Mine was built 6/16 and it’s chillaxing with yours.

it’s been in Lazaro Cardenas since 6/21.

    Thanks for making this thread.

I'm waiting on a MGM TRD-Sport V6 4x4 AT DCLB (no tech package).

It's coming to Oregon (Portland area), and I haven't been told much by my salesman other than that it's not on QC hold, and they don't know much else.

Only notification I've gotten on the app was 1 week ago, Multiple Door Unlock.

I'm waiting on a MGM Limited V6 4x4 AT Short Bed. Build was on 6/4 in Baja and as of last Thursday it's still sitting there.
All the page at the dealership shows is the build date.
Nothing on ETA's for anything else as for moving to port or anything.

I've pinged multiple people on it but no clear answer as to why its sitting. My dealership claims its a logistics issue and that they simply can't get it booked for space on a train but that excuse doesn't sit well with me.

Ultimate destination is Montana via Silver-Bow.

I called my dealer and she said that they have five other customers’ trucks sitting in Mexico since early June without a good explanation as to why they haven’t made it into the US by now.

Specifically, those of us in the "How Long did you wait for your...." thread noticed that quite a few of us who have Tacomas built on 6/4 were all sitting down at the factory instead of getting into the logistics chain and moving out to the various dealerships.
Havn't had any solid answers as to why, so this is so we can get in one place and share our experiances.

I’m 6/16 with the same issue. No movement since 6/21.

It's happening to all the brands. My Ram was built in April, left the factory and got stuck at the railyard in Toledo for two months and finally got to the dealership on July 5th.

Mine was built 5/06. Shipped 5/07. In the logistics yard 5/27. Picked up 6/07.

I put a deposit on 5/17 as truck was still available from dealer - not reserved for anyone.

My silver TRD-OR V6 4x4 AT DCLB with tech package and LED headlights was built in Baja on 6/4. It will eventually ship to a Gulf States Toyota (GST) dealership. My dealer said they will not receive the permanent VIN until it is delivered to GST headquarters in Houston.

My 6/4 built DCLB was expected to arrive at GST Houston port yesterday (7/19). I will talk to my salesman today to determine if it finally moved.

Well, that’s nice to know it’s not a QC hold. That seems to be more than my salesman knows.

Interesting that you don’t have the tech package - initially that was the suspected cause of some delays.
