On my way home from a church conference, I was T-Boned at an intersection by a man trying to make a left. He did not have his headlights on and by the time I saw him I only had time to swerve. He hit the back driver side door and the bed of the truck, I spun a little, hit a curb, flipped/rolled Lord knows how many times, and landed upside down. Here’s the truck:

Now get this, I crawled out of that truck with a singular cut and some bruises on my hips. This truck saved my life. The frame of the truck held up incredibly well and even if someone had been sitting in the back, they probably would have walked out too. When insurance comes through, I will be driving yet another tacoma because my family and I are incredibly grateful this accident happened in this truck. I would easily recommend to anyone to get a tacoma if they want a truck but also want to be safe.

This Yota definitely did it's job in saving your life.
Sad to see it gone, I'm sure, but I'm glad that you're OK!

Glad you were alright. Safety was one of my primary reasons for getting back in a Tacoma.

Glad you crawled with just cuts and bruises. From the looks of the truck, please get checked out by a medical professional to be safe. My Daughter rolled a Scion and like you crawled out with just some bruises. I took her to the emergency room where they gave her a clean bill of health. Speaking from experience, your family will have more piece of mind if you get checked out.

Ouch! Glad you are ok! I had a 94’ 4x4 pickup I rolled it on the interstate (hydroplaned). Had a few bumps and bruises and swore I’d never buy anything other than a Toyota truck from then on.

WOW! That was quite the hit. Glad you made it without any serious injuries.

Driving in CO has been getting pretty sporty these past 10 years.

Glad you're OK...and welcome. I'm curious as to what the other vehicle was and the driver's speed on impact.

Yup, this is the exact reason I got another Tacoma after mine was totalled last month.

    Glad you walked away!!
