The fact is, most people won't share their favorite spots. As soon as it crops up on the internet, some dipshit comes along, dumps a couch on it, soaks it in gasoline, fills it with tannerite, and blasts it with tracers, setting the hill on fire. As long as you're on national forest land, shooting into a proper backstop and there aren't signs around explicitly marking it as a no-shoot area, you're good to go. When in doubt, call the ranger station with the coordinates you are considering.

The bread crumbs I'll drop you are to poke around on Google Maps in the Beckler River & North Fork Snoqualmie River areas. Also Capitol Forest if you're more south. If you're more north, check out the south side of Mt. Baker.

That was not a very helpful post.

I think it depends on where you are. In the Spokane area there are a bunch.

The OP asked for outdoor dispersed spots. You provided a link to the NSSF range facility finder.

Never been a fan of the big popular pits. Just gets way to busy and some people seem to be reckless. I'd rather find a private spot thats secluded and that i can relax and have a chill day trip rather than praying the person next to me is competent
