    Hey Everyone,
Whenever I turn my wheel enough, I hear a loud 'CLUNK' and then everything is fine. The car steers fine and is without issue regarding steering, but that loud 'CLUNK' whenever I am backing out or just turning the wheel enough definitely is a headscratcher. Any advice would be awesome

Time to get the front of the truck off the ground and see what's loose. Could be adjustment cams, LBJ or UBJ, LCA or UCA bushings, outer or inner tie rods, steering rack and or bushings, wheel bearings, CVs (if you're 4wd).

Gotcha. Thanks for the start. I am going to look into what is going on. You are saying that if I have the truck in the air and just turn it, I will be able to see where the issue is coming from?

It's unlikely to be that easy. You're going to need the ability to pry, push, move etc... the wheel around. You want to be able to put your eyes on everything while you're doing that. The idea of lifting the tire off the ground is so that you can move the wheel without the weight of the truck on it.

I had a weird clunking sound when turning my 1st gen, turned out to be a bad sway bar end link. Good luck fixing the problem. Let us know what you find.

Ah- Thanks, I always forget the swaybar as I removed it when I installed the Kings 20+ years ago...

Sounds good. I replaced those on my old 1999 ford ranger and it fixed a lot of the boat-like tendencies the suspension had. I am going to look into it and let y'all know.

My F150 clunks all the time....bc the sway bar end links bushing are gone and the links are all but broken off and I've been too cheap/lazy to change it while at the same time splurging on my taco. The thing handles like a yacht.
