It is but is the cycle we deal with dogs isn't too far from ours, life and death just a shorter cycle. And I think it checks at least one box with all of us.

"I promise I’ll leave the window down for you on our drives, even when it’s cold. Promise you’ll leave nose prints wherever you can."

Well I did give the backseat to him and converted it do so.

I have dog collars going back to 83. Most the puppy collar and then the last collar. Sometimes I break them out and look at them and hold them and think of the memories. Would not give those memories up for anything!

The key is knowing what we know now. I have waited too long in the past. And now know better. Wish I knew now what I did when I was younger...

Dan hopefully I will be able to update some food pics soon, tasked with grilling 5 prime grade ribeye steaks on Thursday. Of course no WiFi or internet up there where we will be.

Shot the Great Northern in Medford Wi. weekend before last. Cautiously optimistic about DDG shoot. Not getting any younger but can hope that I am the lucky squirrel that gets the acorn and the pros from around the Country have a bad day. A man can hope LOL. Came in 6th out of a field of 100 so just need to push it without blowing up.

Great to hear Coco is doing well! So the cats moved in to her house huh?! Ugh... :p

Scott promise pictures! Stayed up past my bedtime loading 200+ 16 ga. rounds. Damn work gets in the way of life. But does pay for the powder, shot, and primers. Hope life is good for you. And that you are getting out shooting often.

Main guy to beat is from Texas and going to do my best, hope he has a bad day LOL. Next up is a friend of mine that is from Binghamton, NY. Actually most of us are friends and congratulate each other on winning when we\they do. And are sincere. At the same time while shaking hands think to ourselves look out buddy I am on your arse ready to beat you...

    Good Morning Folks :hattip:

With Mary having covid, she has canceled her trip to Dallas on Wednesday. I feel bad for her, she was really looking forward to it. She's out some money. The plane ticket is good till May.

I save old collers too. Don't know why, just do.

We just drove through Medford 2 weekends ago. Went up for 1 day. Cousins reunion on Mary's dad side of the family.

Stepson is getting married this fall down in Dripping Springs Texas. Her family has a 640+ acre ranch down between Hondo and Bandera. It has 2 skeet towers and a rifle range. We were down there last April. Had a really good time. Helen's step-dad invited me down next time they do a whitetail cull hunt.

Good morning everybody, we made it past Monday!

My son and his wife both came down with Covid last week. Wife went back to work for the first time last night and it kicked her butt. Son was planning on going to work tonight but said he’s felt pretty crappy since yesterday for some reason. On top of this the HoA dropped off a “your yard is looking shaggy” note on their front door even though several on the HoA board know they are sick . Dad’s Lawn Care service is heading over to take care of it.
