Hey everyone. Im trying to buy coil springs for my 99 4x4 SR5. I'm confused because all of the available 3rd party coil springs include at least a 1.5" lift, which i dont think i want. Currently, i just have stock springs and leafs. The only way to get no lift that i can see is to buy OEM, but they are 155$ each, where the EMU springs are 214$ for two. Anyone have advice about how to get the best springs for cheapest without lift?

Agreed, if you can find them. I've considered buying to genuine Toyota springs for my 03 DC, but dam the expensive.

Why do you think you need new springs?

I haven't heard good things about Moog, I'd rather do something else. I need new springs because the car doesn't handle well. I've gotten new tie rods, rack and pinion bushings, lower control arms, lower ball joints, and shocks and struts. Car steering still feels like it is "loose". Im pretty sure its the springs at this point

    Then just get OEM.

You're complaining about a coil that you haven't tried yet you don't want to buy the original equipment.

Abeyancer: Wow that is a great read. Might indeed be the source of some of my issues. I will take a closer look into that before getting new springs. I think that'd help a lot more. Thank you!

Happy to help! In your previous comment you mentioned changing the rack and pinion bushings... is it still the same stock rack? There's a tension nut on the front of your rack that can be tightened... the pre 01 racks had a shitty design for the guide behind the nut. This thread goes into detail of rebuilding a rack, however you can see the differences in the design in his early pictures
