TRD pro sema or TRD beadlocks

I've always liked the bronze beadlocks with a powder coated trim ring.



I think they would look great on most Tacoma colors.

 

Thanks man. I might get a set of the gray ones as well and run each set 6 months of the year.

 

Have the sema, big fan of them. But also love the look of the beadlocks when I see a truck running them.

 

Reviving a dead thread here, but I’m looking at picking up a set of these. Quite expensive and I hear they’re not even really beadlock? Can anyone confirm this?

 

I can confirm they are not "True" Beadlock, but they are great wheels and the trim ring is actually great at protecting the wheel and if you carry a spare set (they are discontinued, but some say you can still get at certain dealers) you can easy fix any scrape damage. I personally love these wheels and moved mountains to get a set to put on my 2022 (pictured below). I happen to have two left over that I'm willing to sell if you are looking to locate a set.

 

I say these TRD wheels have replaceable rock rash rings which help stave off damage to the rim lip and tire. A lot more positive and realistic than saying faux Beadlocks imo.
Made in the UK, lighter than the stock TRDOR 16” wheels, run em without the rings or paint the rings for a different look.

 

Damn your truck is perfect. Its what I imagined mine looking like before I got mine. Almost makes me regret not waiting for a black one.

 

What did you end up getting?

 

Lunar Rock off-road. Dealer said maybe another couple months to try to find a black one with the same build so I settled with Lunar Rock.

 

That's a pretty cool color as well. Not sure if it'll be cool in 10 years, but I would have taken it if that's what my dealer had instead of black. I guess I just lucked out.

 

I actually have sourced a mismatched set, 2 gray, 1 bronze and one black. For 1100$ what do you think?

Like others have said, these have long been discontinued by dealers, so pretty much any set you can track down is a good deal. These wheels were originally only available for the TRD Pro, TRD Baja, and FJ cruiser TT models.

Was thinking of powder coating them all a bronze color but not sure how it would look on my truck. I am open to suggestions though, I am more curious to hear if 1100 is a good price or not.

 

NICE, you also have the 17" Rock Warriors 6 lug TRD beadlocks...they are super expensive. Last time I checked they were over $350 per wheel! Love them! SWEET!

 

They have been discontinued. I powder coated the outer rings. I'm lucky I bought a 5th with 265/75/16 KO2s and is my spare.

 

That seems to be around the going rate, it’s just hard to put a price because a full set very rarely comes around.
Plus you need to add in the price of powder coating.
I powder coated my rings bronze for a little less “bling”.

 

They look sick I was albeit a little disappointed they’re not real beadlock but I am a sucker for trd things. I am putting the order through tonight, will send pics when they are coated and on the truck. Hopin by the end of august.

 

I like the bead lock TRD wheels in silver but I don't like the color on my silver sky, but my grey 4Runner SEMA wheels look great. Not doing black wheels.
