So far behind I'll comment on the old poll too; we have natural gas for the house furnace and swimming pool heater. The house water heater is electric and on my list of things that should be changed soon. I think the water heater is going on 15 years old and I put it in when the other one sprung a leak. The only thing though is pretty sure I need one of those baffle dealy-bobs installed on the line...not sure about the baffle, what, where etc.
We also have rural water and it's decent quality.
House on septic tank for waste.
Confrontation; not usually, and certainly not as much as my younger days, and nowhere as close to younger drinking days.
Usually just curse like a person with turrets on a rampage, but only to myself and not directed at anyone in particular.

I don't hear very well. So with all my doctors and the cancer center , she tells them they will deal directly with her. On most doctor visits , they don't even talk to me , they talk directly to her.

My friend has sulfur water. Does this style well cap reduce the smell?

Confrontation: I’m pretty laid back. Don’t screw with my family, don’t push me too far. Like others have mentioned, I don’t hold grudges because life is too short. I forgive, I never forget. Play the long game.

I used to get kinda road ragey when people cut me off, stuff like that. Once I got my pistol permit I calmed down a LOT. It’s not worth a potential shouting match turning into an argument involving a firearm. I trust very few people, none of them are strangers.

No check valve, just a 1" x 6" piece of aluminum pipe and a standard heating oil tank vent cap.

I believe it makes a chimney effect encouraging the gas to flow away.

The cover is held to the casing with an air space under the cap to allow the fresh air in.

You could modify your existing well cap for about $10 in parts, the most difficult thing is drilling the hole.

Working alone again. I know the supervisor wanted the new guy with me so that he could learn but new guy's hour job turned into several hours. Par for the course around here.
I've got this clamped down and it wouldn't go anywhere but it not very solid in terms of vibration. Also there is .005" difference from one side to the other. I'm going to move my chain clamps for a more straight pull and see if that helps make it more solid. I also have option of large blocks and toe clamps.
As I loosen this clamp I'm going to check indicator and see if it's moving. (Possibly the .005" side to side difference.) 20220719_130124.jpg

The well casing has no pressure, the water just sits down there until the pump sends it to your house.

The water level may be 50 or 100 feet below the cap.

Show us more with the chain clamp ends. Never seen them, all I've seen is the chain vice grips..

Great minds think alike. I had taken these pictures to share so both ends are showing. Very similar to a chain vise grip. The part didn't move when I loosen the clamp. It will be just fine being off the .005: side to side but I'll just have to touch off again.
Hope this picture explains how it works.

Had to modify this chopper blade. Move the pockets and holes. They interfere with the others so I didn’t countersink them as deep. Hopefully it works for them.
